Last week, Tacoma Power recovered 180 coho adults,
three jacks and 106 winter-run steelhead during four
days of operation at the Cowlitz Salmon Hatchery
separator.
During the week Tacoma Power employees released eight
coho adults and three winter-run steelhead into the
Tilton River at Gust Backstrom Park in Morton.
Tacoma Power employees released 41 coho adults, one jack and three winter-run steelhead into Lake Scanewa, behind Cowlitz Falls Dam during the week.
During the week Tacoma Power transported 80 early winter-run steelhead to the Cowlitz Trout Hatchery for brood stock.
River flows at Mayfield Dam are approximately 8,240 cubic feet per second on Monday, January 4. Water visibility is eight feet. River flows could change at any time so boaters and anglers should remain alert for this possibility.
